Punters Club

The Taumarunui Racing Club Inc holds an annual premier race meeting on the last Saturday in July of each year.

The meeting is held at the Arawa Park Racecourse in Rotorua.

The Punters Club provides additional features, activities and ways for you to enjoy the event and have fun. Please see the infomation below.

The countdown is on! Get your friends, work colleagues and or family together and join us in the Punter’s Club for a wee bit of a fancy day out at the Races.  Employers, shout your Staff! Celebrating a birthday or special occasion, looking at a fun family gathering??  Great Race Programme including the prestigious $50,000 Taumarunui Gold Cup.  This is NZ’s most successful one day winter race meeting.

VENUE & HOUSE KEEPING INFORMATION:

Entry to the PRESIDENTS LOUNGE is for ticket holders only.  Please wear your wristbands at all times.  Bar Staff have the right to refuse service to anyone not wearing their wristbands.

BUFFET LUNCH WILL BE SERVED BETWEEN 12.30-1.30PM:

BAR OPERATION:

Non-alcoholic drinks, bottled beers, selected bottled wine, RTD’S will be

available as part of our bar operation.  The bar operation is subject to limitations.  As per Liquor License Laws, Intoxicated persons will not be served.

BETTING TEAMS & PUNTING SELECTIONS:

Individuals & groups will be put into Betting Teams.  Team Captains are responsible for co-ordinating Team selections.  Bets need to be confirmed 15 minutes before your race runs.  Bet early and spend wisely – the idea is to make some money!!

PAYMENT OPTIONS AND OTHER INFORMATION:

The 1st race could be between 11.00am & 12 Noon.  Please make sure you are on course half an hour before the 1st race.  Payment for the Punter’s Club can be made directly to the Racing Club’s Westpac

Please ensure your $95.00 is paid BEFORE THURSDAY 22nd July 2021.
